The East Cobb Educational Research Committee is accepting donations.
Contributions are for community education on the topic of cityhood and a feasibility study. The committee has selected Georgia State University, Andrew Young School Center for State & Local Finance. This is the same university that was used for the initial feasibility study conducted in 2018. The cost of the study is $20,000, with $10,000 being due at initiation, and the remaining $10,000 upon completion. The final report will be submitted back to the committee by C.O.B. November 1, 2021.
