In East Cobb there already exists a facility within our boundaries that can be used as an office space. The cost to transfer this facility from the county to the city will be negotiated for a reasonable cost, understanding as taxpayers, we have already paid for this facility with our tax dollars. For this reason, leasing expenses were not included since it is subject to a negotiation. Alternatively, the City of East Cobb can lease the appropriate commercial space (up to 24,000 sq ft) costing $500K - $600K / yr, which falls well within the $1.8M contingency fund.
